Biggest Reason About Museveni Promotes Muhoozi to Rank of Major General

Muhoozi Kainerugaba never diverted his path from becoming a successful soldier and facing the enemies. Although he came from a privileged family, he never belittled anybody. He prepared himself physically and mentally by undergoing intense training to improve his tactical skills in his brilliant military career. Kainerugaba joined the army in 1999 where his real talent sprung to life.

With an intense learning devotion, the president's son conducted successfully an important expedition called Operation Lighting Thunder in the Garamba Forest to battle against a criminal group led by the opponent Joseph Kony of the Lord’s Resistance Army. With sharp strategies created by Muhoozi, he exploited and broke into enemy weakness, which assured the astute leader of his victory.

Kainerugaba made the criminals to flee in a brilliantly thriving cleaning operation. Also, he battled against the Al-Shabaab militants in Somalia followed by the execution of the Operation Kalongero in South Sudan. Every achievement brought the brave General a new vision and deeper willingness to conquer a lot more for the people who have been experiencing violence since the conquer by The Great Britain.

Muhoozi superior experience took a start in 2000 when he became the second lieutenant in the Presidential Protection Unit, major in the UPDF. Later on, he was ranked to the post as Brigade Commander in the Presidential Guard Brigade, promoted to Lieutenant Colonel and appointed Commander of the Special Forces Group in the Uganda People's Defence Force.

With an impeccable education, professionalism, discipline and an exceptional military career in the remarkable historic events brought the General several deserved promotions in his 13-year old profession that changed not just his life but the entire country as well.

These are the biggest reason behind President Museveni promotes Kainerugaba to the rank of Major General on 16 May 2016 followed by the post of Senior Presidential Adviser for Special Operations on 10 January 2017. He started with a deep purpose into making the change and bringing hope and better days for Uganda, which has become a lot less vulnerable with the right people in power and a great learner like Muhoozi.
