Muhoozi Kainerugaba success has
intrigued some opponents who built-up speculation that the general is
the son of the President of Uganda.
Hence, they decided to use personal aspect of his life as an attempt to try to erase a lifetime of dedication this son has made through for Uganda. In his 13-year military career, the Major General faced cruel accusations based on a plan called Muhoozi Project which to some readers, has been interpreted more like Muhoozi Kainerugaba crime. But certainly, the people were not taken for granted in this scenario. The Ugandans quickly witnessed the truth and came to realise that such a plan was nothing but false; and a fake political monarch tactic to the current government.

The known project is “non-existent” according to the president’s son who had a fast career progress in the military service.
It states that the Major is climbing higher to achieve a big designation and eventually replace President Museveni someday. The aspect “Muhoozi Kainerugaba crime” was also mentioned as a crucial detail of the plan which practically claims the assassination of anyone who is opposed to it.
The dossier was disclosed to the press in 2013 by the coordinator Gen David Sejusa who also affirms that Uganda is destined to become a “political monarchy.”
According to the political commentator and activist Nicholas Opiyo told Reuters, Kainerugaba will play an important role in post-Museveni Uganda indeed. In addition, it is a change for the son to gain more perspective about how a government operates in the world of politics.
At 42-year-old, the major has been assuring the security at serving the special forces responsible for the personal safety of Museveni. The current president has been in power since 1986.
Muhoozi Kainerugaba continually denies all the allegations of replacing his father to the press. It also includes the Government spokesman Ofwono Opondo. The General effortlessly proves and states how happy he is in the army and has no ambitions to possess the president’s position.
“If the requirement of taking over the presidency arise, then I will know the followed procedures when needed,” added Kainerugaba.
